The 2016 Rockwood Hard Side A212HighWall. A perfect union of form and function; the set-up can be done easily with one or two people, the interior is the perfect size for 2-4 people comfortably, the spare tire featured prominently on the rear loudly encourages adventure that may be slightly ill-advised.
The exterior is a pleasant tan paint job on top of the signature A frame profile. The shape and color calls to mind the tops of mountains above the treeline. Swooping vinyl decals decorate the sides, tying together a very stylish unit. All things considered the A-Frame is an incredibly unique looking unit that will definitely stand out in a line-up.
The interior is equally unique. On one side sits the dinette; this consists of two incredibly comfortable bench seats and a center table. The bench seats match the trim pieces leading to a wonderful feeling of cohesion. In the middle you have a 3-burner stove, and oven. Across from that is a double basin sink and plenty of counter space. On the far side of the unit is the queen mattress. On the outside wall there is an outdoor shower as well. That’s it, all the creature comforts you need but nothing that will weigh you down.
The design ethos of this unit is very clear, it intentionally segments the travel trailer market: this is not for large families, nor for people who want to bring every single one of their earthly possessions when they camp. This unit is not one size fits all and that is by design. This is a unit for adventure. The A-Frame is begging to take you to that mountaintop. Sure, this unit will do perfectly fine with backyard camping, but that is not what it wants, and let’s be honest, that’s not what you want either. Come in and begin your trek up the mountain.
