Anyone can own a camper but few people truly take care of them. Today at Art’s RV we are blessed to have a fine example of care and dedication in the form of our 2004 GulfStream BTouring Cruiser 5230B. Our previous owner has been a long time service customer so you can trust it’s seen maintenance and repairs on a regular basis. Its pedigree speaks for itself, being manufactured during a time of heated RV industry competition and high demand, where consistency and quality meant everything.
Where other makes and models try to jam everything into the least amount of space possible the BTouring Cruiser isn’t pretentious. It’s not promising you a high sleeping capacity or state of the art technology. What it is promising you is a luxurious comfortable camper experience for 2-3 people that cannot be matched by other contenders its size. On the outside it’s a wall of white complimented by sweeping vinyl decals. Aerodynamic styling dominates the exterior with rounded corners and the sloped nose at the helm.
Our BTouring Cruiser is best appreciated on the inside with the slide out extended. The entry door is located at the rear end on the passenger's side of the camper to save space on the interior. Automated entry steps come out to green you as you open the door, crossing the threshold you’re met with the kitchen and bathroom situated in the back of the coach. Flanked on all sides with cabinetry there’s two wardrobes for hanging clothes alongside all the drawers and compartments one could wish for. The bathroom is complete with a toilet, shower, and sink with a vanity. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired coming with a cooktop, microwave, sink, and refrigerator freezer that works on both electric and gas.
The main attraction of this motorhome is the cozy living space you’re giving right in the middle of the coach. The dinette is on the slide out, so you’ve got plenty of elbow room to relax and unwind. Across from the dinette is the couch that folds down to create a bed. At the head of it all is the entertainment center with a flatscreen TV at the center surrounded on all sides with cabinets just waiting to be filled. There's plenty of room for expansion, a home audio system, game consoles, or streaming boxes; the world is your oyster with the BTouring Cruiser. While it might not be the most spacious on the inside there are seatbelts to accommodate 6 passengers, meaning you could use the Cruiser as the ultimate road trip chariot, or a mothership for combination tent/RV camping.
Piloting this glorious machine is a breeze with it being seated on the bulletproof Ford Econoline Van chassis. This motorhome was ahead of its time giving you a backup camera in an unorthodox fashion. Instead of cluttering up your dashboard or the windshield the backup camera is located on the underside of the visor so it can be flipped up and away while not in use.
Tried and true our Gulf Stream BTouring Cruiser has seen many roads and adventures but it’s just getting started. With its no frills straightforward design featuring turn of the century technology and quality, this camper is sure to bring good memories for years to come. Cared for gems like this are hard to come by and never last long, come see ours before it's gone!
